Harlequins team to travel to Leicester Tigers | New

The Harlequins coaching group have named the 23-man squad to travel to Leicester Tigers in Round 19 of the Gallagher Premiership 2020/21 season

Heading into the final four rounds of the regular season, two changes were made to the starting lineup that earned a dramatic late victory over Wasps at The Stoop last weekend.

Winger Nathan Earle returns to start on the left wing, replacing injured Cadan Murley, while James Lang is also restored to the starting XV at inside center.

A jig change from the back line sees Luke Northmore go from jersey twelve to thirteen, with Joe Marchant starting on the right wing and Tyrone Green in the back.

Back row James Chisholm returns from injury for the first time since March to take a place among the Impact players, while England at VII Will Edwards and Australian international Ben Tapuai replace Lang and the injured Paul Lasike on the bench respectively in jerseys 22 and 23..

Looking for a fifth straight win over the Tigers, General Billy Millard said: “Leicester are a team that have probably gone back to their old school principles under Steve Borthwick. They are a well-organized team with a good set piece and a good kicking game, so we are well acquainted with the challenge we will face this week.

“We have had a few changes in our squad over the past two months, but we’ve been very pleased with the level of performance we’ve seen from the players, which is an honor to the depth of our squad and the quality of the state of mind of the players at the moment.

“We look forward to playing game by game every week as we head into a great end to the season. Starting with Leicester this week. “
