And Mr. College Baseball Universe is… the SEC?

If Saturday was all about the SEC flexing its muscles in the world of college baseball, the league crowned itself Mr. Universe.

To put it into perspective, compared to his diamond brethren, Tennessee’s No. 1 struggled mightily on offense with his paltry 12 points. That paltry total fell below average as the league members outscored opponents for 125 points while posting an 8-1 record.

For those who don’t have an abacus handy, that’s an average of 14 runs per game. Georgia, Auburn, Vanderbilt and Arkansas each posted solid football scores with a total of 85 runs. The Bulldogs and Hogs have combined 14 of 21 homers hit by those four teams.

Of the remaining nine teams, six must be beaten twice on Sunday to snatch a regional championship from them.

Here’s how the schedule unfolds for the SEC on Championship Sunday:
