Audi has given the A8 a makeover for the 2022 model year, with improvements designed to keep the model relevant until an all-new electric version arrives in 2024. The revised A8 features subtle external updates , but the majority of the changes are inside, with a focus on the ultimate rear-seat passenger experience. Sales of the model will begin in December and it will be the last of its generation. Meanwhile, Audi also unveiled the Maybach rival the A8L Horch, but it won’t come to the United States.

2022 VW ID.5 is an electric coupe SUV with a sporty GTX variant that will not come to the United States

Unfortunately, VW will not be offering the ID.5 to US customers. Instead, the European market will have access to the sporty coupe-like design based on the ID.4, which is similar in size but straighter. The ID.5 receives exterior tweaks compared to the ID.4 to make it more stylish, but the interior remains almost entirely unchanged. The ID.5 will also be offered in a more impactful GTX variant with a total output of 295 hp.

Greek startup Spyros Panopoulos Automotive has revealed Chaos, which they tout as the world’s first “Ultracar”. SP Automotive has made some bold statements about Chaos and its capabilities, confident that it will break almost any speed record for a production car. However, as the only thing shown was a number of renderings, it was hardly surprising that the internet started to question the legitimacy of the project. The founder of SP Automotive therefore retaliated and responded to comments, calling the reviews “hateful”.

Hyundai teases SEVEN concept that will lead to Ioniq 7 full-size electric SUV in 2024

Hyundai is moving towards the electrification of its range and has unveiled its latest concept named SEVEN and previewed at the AutoMobility LA show on November 17th. The SEVEN will serve as a production preview of its next electric SUV Ioniq 7, which is expected to hit the market in early 2024. The Ioniq 7 would be offered in a 6 to 7 seater configuration and would have a very futuristic design. . Hyundai has already confirmed that the Ioniq 7 will use its SK Innovation batteries with a capacity of 100 kWh, which should, in theory, give the electric vehicle a range of well over 483 km.

New Toyota Aygo X debuts as adventurous city car for Europe

The A segment is shrinking, Peugeot and Citroën having chosen not to continue their respective small cars 107 and C1. But Toyota, which had previously partnered with PSA, has chosen to go it alone for the next generation of its city car.
