Automotive supplier Solero Technologies recently celebrated the grand opening of its new Michigan headquarters.
Solero Technologies, formerly BorgWarner’s North American Controls business, was acquired by Atar Capital, a private investment firm, in December 2021, according to a press release.
Representatives from Atar Capital, Oakland County Government, Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Michigan Manufacturers Association and Automation Alley joined the Solero team for a ribbon cutting at the Rochester plant Hills, June 2.
The 13,000 square foot facility will house the company’s sales and engineering operations and warehouse, as well as a laboratory for advanced solenoid product development, which will be operational in July.
