Cory Waldron named to #HLTF Academic Team


INDIANAPOLIS – Purdue Fort Wayne’s Cory waldron has been selected as one of 15 members of the Horizon League men’s track and field team, the league announced on Thursday (June 17th).

To be eligible for the Horizon League All-Academic Team, student-athletes must compete in 50 percent of the team’s overall competitions, complete one year at the member school, and spend 24 credit hours at that institution. . Eligible applicants must have completed one academic year before the start of their sports season. Have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20 on a scale of 4.00.

Waldron, who just completed his second season, was named to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll in the fall of 2020. He is a member of the record-holding 4×400-meter relay team in the Purdue Fort Wayne program and also took third place in the Horizon League. Outdoor track and field championships.

Waldron, who specializes in business marketing, has a cumulative GPA of 3.90.
