Jimmy and Nath help Jonesy come up with a drag name

Radio worlds collided Hit is Jimmy and Nat makes a waterfall causing Amanda Keller slide live on the airwaves for Jonsey and Amanda from WSFM To display.

Jonsey and Amanda turned Jonsey into a drag queen for RuPaul’s Drag Race Down and appeal to listeners to come up with a drag name for Jonesy to adopt.

Amanda didn’t know much at the time, but Nath Roye from Jimmy and Nath had slipped a little suggestion to WSFM for Jonesy, which she then read on the air.

“They’re doing a thing with RuPaul’s Drag Race, so they were looking for a name for Jonesy, and he’s a big fan of motorcycles,” Jimmy said.

“So I decided to text with a name I thought they might use,” Nath said.

“I didn’t even know if it was going to air, I just texted.”

“See if you can choose when they read my name, because I think they might have liked it.”

Nath sent the “Kawasaki-me-off” suggestion for Jonesy. An ode to his love of motorcycles and his new adventure as a promiscuous drag queen.

Initially shocked, Amanda realized she had been the victim of a Bart Simpson-esque prank before – much to the surprise of listeners – the name was adopted.

Now, Jonesy’s drag alterego is officially, Kawasaki-me-off.
