Lyco’s Green named to the All-MAC Freedom team | News, Sports, Jobs

After becoming the first player to achieve double-digit goals and assists in a single season in Lycoming College women’s football history, junior midfielder Bella Green (South Williamsport, PA / South Williamsport Area) became the first Lycoming midfielder to win the first All-MAC Freedom Team Honors, the conference office in Annville, Pa., Announced on Wednesday, November 10.

Green’s 12 goals and 10 assists helped the Warriors to a historic 11-game winning season, the second in program history. His 34 points were tied for fourth in Warriors’ program history while his 12 goals were eighth and 10 assists. She was also fifth at MAC Freedom with 0.706 goals per game and second with 0.588 assists. His 2.00 points per game were also third in the league.

Green has been named the MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week twice this season and also won her first United Soccer Coaches Division III Offensive Player of the Week honor earlier in September.

She is the 12th warrior to win First Team All-Conference Honors in program history and the first to do so since Meghenn Jackson won All-MAC Commonwealth First Team Honors in 2015.

The Warriors finished 11-7-1 under fifth-year head coach Kenny Fern, going 3-4-1 in MAC Freedom.
