BREVARD COUNTY, FL – Several years ago, when Mike Erdman Toyota and Nissan moved their facilities to West Cocoa off I-95 on State Road 520, they invited veteran organizations to help raise the new giant American flag at this resort.
Years earlier, they began supporting a number of veteran missions, including the annual Good Deeds Foundation Golf Tournament of the Cape Canaveral Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America and special projects at Veterans Memorial Center.
With the Space Coast Daily Friday Night Locker Room video team of Steve Wilson and Orville Susong acting as producers as well as videographers, a grand Memorial Day 2022 ceremony took place at the Mike Erdman dealerships.
On May 27, many Erdman Automotive employees and veterans, as well as the courageous VMC US Navy Cadet Division, participated. The cadets served as Color Guards, despite missing their first day of summer vacation!
At the end of the ceremony, which you can see above, the Erdman Automotive team announced that the four participating organizations would split the total amount of funds based on their donation of $100 for each vehicle sold during the course. of Memorial Day weekend.
They decided to extend the time a bit and on June 10 they donated a total of $10,000, split four ways, to the Good Deeds Foundation, Veterans Memorial Center, Rolling Thunder FL-1 and in the Brevard JROTC program.
The incredible generosity and support of the Erdman Automotive family continues with the heartfelt thanks of many JROTC veterans and cadets supported by all four groups.
