St. Louis City SC to Announce Name of New Football Stadium | Local company

ST. LOUIS — The region’s Major League Soccer team will unveil the sponsor and name of its new stadium on Tuesday.

St. Louis City SC officials, including CEO Carolyn Kindle Betz and Vice President Khalia Collier, along with “special guests” will announce the news at 10 a.m. on the team’s YouTube page.

Team leaders have released milestones over the past year – from announcing St. Louis-based Together Credit Union as a banking partner to unveiling a four-story parking garage and… a retail store on the ground floor.

But the naming rights for the new stadium are the group’s biggest deal, worth millions of dollars a year. The team will inscribe the name of the winning company on the stadium.

The stadium is bordered by Market Street to the south, 20th Street to the east, Olive Street to the north, and 22nd Street to the west. Alberici, L. Keeley and Mortenson construction crews are constructing three practice and training grounds on the south side of Market Street.

Construction is expected to wrap up this summer before the team takes to the field in its inaugural season in March 2023.

The Taylor family of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, including Kindle Betz, owns the team along with Jim Kavanaugh, CEO of World Wide Technology.
