UP Energy changes its name to PureWest Energy

ENGLEWOOD, Colorado., May 25, 2021 / PRNewswire / – UP Energy, LLC announced today that it has changed its name to PureWest Energy, LLC (“PureWest” or the “Company”) with immediate effect. The new name, logo and slogan reflect the company’s vision to be the most responsible and profitable natural gas company in North America. Along with the name change, the company launched a new corporate website at www.purewest.com.

Mr. Christophe valdez, the Chief Executive Officer of the Company, said: “We are delighted to announce the change to PureWest, bringing alignment between the name of the company and the mission that our board, management team and employees have for. the company to advance modern living by providing energy produced in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. This rebranding marks another key milestone for PureWest following our two successful acquisitions which have consolidated operations on the Pinedale Anticline. We currently produce over 600 Mcf per day (net), making PureWest the largest producer of natural gas in Wyoming with access to the premium market through the largest Opal Hub. ”

As part of its commitment to environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) leadership, PureWest has partnered with Project Canary and will certify the company’s production as TrustWell â„¢ certified responsibly sourced natural gas. The Company has launched the first of several certification phases and will also deploy real-time continuous monitoring of methane emissions at associated production sites.
