What is the name of Kate Bishop’s superhero? Is she Hawkeye now?

As Hawkeye Episode 6 feels like the end of an era and the start of a short story, what name will she choose to follow in Clint Barton’s footsteps?

With the Hawk Eye finale aired on Disney + in the early hours of the morning and the symbolic handover scene between old school Hawkeye Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) and Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), questions arise as to what her super name will be. hero. This would not only reflect the comics, but also make sense given how the episodes unfolded. All Hawk Eye The season had been about Kate no doubt eagerly eager to learn from Clint and Clint reluctantly accepting her help and mentoring her. While there was some hesitation on Clint’s side, as seen in Episode 4, the Hawkeye season finale ultimately allayed any doubts about Clint’s approval of Kate as his successor. Not only did he seem to finally endorse her as a potential hero heiress, but his focus on family seems to suggest that he would like to stay out of the hero spotlight wherever and whenever possible – something that would no longer be possible where Kate confronts her coat, as he could stay involved as her mentor.

Whether or not Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop is seen in an upcoming MCU project, whether it’s Young Avengers or a potential Hawk Eye season 2, there is no doubt that she is the successor to Clint Barton. The entire season served as the story behind her taking on the role of being Clint’s Hawkeye. Considering how easy and organic it was to transition from Clint’s role to Kate in Hawk EyeIt’s safe to say that Kate’s superhero name will be Hawkeye – if not now then not far beyond Phase 4 – and that she will make Clint proud in the role that has long been hers.
